Happy Birthday Gabriel Mann!

Gabriel Mann (born Gabriel Wilhoit Amis Mick) was born on May 14, 1972, meaning that today he's completing his 42nd birthday! Gabriel is an American actor, most known for his role as Nolan Ross on the ABC drama series Revenge.

"Brilliant but socially awkward, Nolan Ross (Gabriel Mann) is the founder and CEO of the technology company, Nolcorp. He lives in Hamptons. Emily's father, David Clarke was Nolan's first investor in the company and believed in Nolan when no one else did. Nolan is forever grateful to David Clarke and feels an immense amount of loyalty to Emily because of this. It is Nolan who gives Emily the diaries that proves to her that her father is innocent of being involved with terrorists and crashing Flight 197.
Nolan loves helping Emily with her revenge plan and enjoys the drama that comes with being part of her shenanigans. He doesn't have many friends and is happy to be needed by Emily. She relies heavily on him. He is an expert in technology and is able to hack into almost any computer system and bypass nearly any security system. He is always ready with a quip one liner or a clever phrase. As much as he enjoys seeing the Hampton elite get their comeuppance, he is also often the only voice of reason and will warn Emily when he thinks she is going too far. He is sometimes the only one Emily will listen to.
Nolan's net worth is $19.8 billion dollars. Although he is immensely wealthy, he is ostracized by Hampton high society due to his quirky manner and lack of social graces." (source: IMDb - http://www.imdb.com/character/ch0267066/bio)

We wish this amazing and talented actor a very happy birthday and we definitely hope to see a lot more of his work, not only on Revenge, but also in other projects.

EXCLUSIVE: Questions & Answers - Karine Vanasse

Hello everyone! We wanted the first post of our blog to be special so we have been preparing a huge surprise for all the Revenge fans! We asked you to send us some questions you'd like to ask Karine Vanasse (Margaux LeMarchal on Revenge) and we sent the best ones to her! Some of the questions are related to Revenge, others aren't, but in my opinion they were all great! The beautiful actress spent some of her free time answering YOUR questions...how lucky are we, huh?
I hope you enjoy this and had fun while participating! Hopefully we will be able to do more of these!

Here are the following questions and answers:

1. What is your favourite part of the set of Revenge?
I don’t get to shoot often in Grayson Manor, but because I was myself watching the show before playing Margaux, that set fascinates me. It looks so real on screen !

2. As French is your native language, would you like to be in a French movie? If so, with which actors?
I had the chance to work with Francois Cluzet recently in a French film, En Solitaire, and the experience of working with him was amazing.
Unfortunately, Guillaume Canet was part of the cast too, but I didn’t have the chance to share scenes with him.

3. Who's your favourite co-star from Revenge?

It’s been interesting to see what Margaux becomes when in contact, first with Jack and then Daniel. Nick and Josh, themselves, have very different technique as actors, so it’s been great to have the chance to play with both of them.

4. Will there have a "remember" between Margaux and Daniel? (about the relationship Margaux had with Daniel when they were younger)
Like a flashback moment between Daniel and Margaux ? We never know, but I haven’t heard of any as of now.

5. Will the new union of Margaux with Daniel affect her relationship with Jack?
Of course, a relationship between Margaux and Daniel means… no relationship with Jack for her. Thinking that something was maybe going on between Jack and Emily combined to the arrival of her father destroyed the possibility for Margaux to be with this man.

6. Who plays around the most behind the scenes?
Because most of us are so serious on the show, to see Nick, Josh and Emily laugh between scenes is always great !

7. What is the best thing about working on a drama like Revenge?
The fans are so involved in the show and are so attached to the characters ! I had never experienced something like that before.

8. If you could pick one character that you would like Margaux to have a bigger bond with on the show, who would it be? Why?
I always love having scenes with Conrad (Henry Czerny) and Victoria (Madeleine Stowe). They are so strong and precise as characters and as actors. That precision is what impresses me the most.

9. What has been your favourite role, so far?
Conrad has been so consistant with himself throughout all three seasons. Always as bad and evil as we think he will be.

10 . If you could chose a movie where you could act in, which would it be?
I would say Black Swan.

11. If there was a movie about your life, which actor would you like to be you?
The canadian actress Sarah Polley.

12. What's the best part of being an actor?
You always have to be in a position where you can assimilate and understand somebody else’s emotional reaction… You can learn compassion through it.

13. Other than acting, what would be your dream job?
I would have loved to be courageous enough to be a documentary filmmaker.

14. If you could be someone or something for a day, who/what would you be?
Do a concert as the lead singer of the band London Grammar, Hannah Reid.

15. Tell us one of the funniest things that have happened on the set of Revenge.
I am always so bad at remembering those funny moments, but in episode 321 I was suppose to say « Detective Osko » but kept saying « Detective Orzo », like the pasta.
Then he became « Detective Lasagna » and that was it, I couldn’t stop laughing. Sometimes it doesn’t take much as you can see !

16. If you weren't Margaux on Revenge, what character would you like to play?
Gabriel Mann is so good and seems to have so much fun playing Nolan, I would love to wear his clothes and deliver his lines like he does.
We already share a similar haircut so, I’m almost there !
